Storage containers are a cost effective way to secure just about everything. Here are a few hints to guide you in your purchase:
- Buy from a local vendor. Local vendors will obtain the best equipment in their market. The closer they are to you, the lower the trucking cost will be.
- Ask about the condition of the ground level storage container. Most vendors will grade or rate containers and price them accordingly. Terms can vary from vendor to vendor, so ask for a full explanation.
- Determine what size you need. Storage Containers are usually 20' or 40', but they can come in other sizes. Ask your supplier what they have in stock.
- Prepare your site for delivery. Containers can sit directly on the ground on a level site. Some clients prefer to place their container on a gravel pad or wooden blocks. Your delivery driver should be able to help you place your container in the right spot.
- Enjoy your container, but remember to check it from time to time. Containers can collect condensation inside. If you are having trouble with moisture consider installing a turbine to help air flow.
